Warranty Terms

Dear Customer,

Thank you and congratulations on your purchase of one of the finest mattresses available. Repose strives to provide thebest in terms of product quality, durability, comfort and pricing. Every Repose mattress is designed to gift you the mostcomfortable and healthy sleep, in the long term.

All mattresses purchased from authorized Repose agents, resellers or Portals are covered by a Limited Warranty againstmanufacturing defects and shall, at Repose Mattress Private Limited's option, be repaired a replaced without any additional charges, except for the actual charges incurred by Repose.

Customers are advised that body indentations are a normal occurrence in new mattresses. These only indicate that the upholstery layers are conforming to your body's contours and hence should not be a cause for concern.

You are requested to read through the terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty provided byRepose shall cover only manufacturing defects if present in the mattress, or any damages caused to the mattress through normal use that results from quality and workmanship not mounting to the generally accepted standards of Repose. Youare further requested to refer to the additional information on proper mattress care mentioned in the following pages.

 

Limited Warranty: 

From the date of purchase, Repose mattress is warrantied against any manufacturing defect for a period of up to 10 years from the date of purchase. In case of any manufacturing defect (specified below) within 1 year of purchase, the mattress will be repaired or replaced with an identical product. In case of any manufacturing defect after the first year, either a repair or in case if a repair is not possible, a prorated credit or cash refund settlement will be applicable.

 

Covered under manufacturing defect:

1. Only damages that arise during reasonable use of the mattress shall be Eligible for repair or replacement.
2. In the event that any spring or wire is protruding from the mattress or is Broken, and such damage is not a result ofthe customer’s use of the Same, Repose shall repair or replace such mattress.
3. Tearing of the stitching or fabric under normal usage shall be covered.
4. Any fabric damage found on unboxing / unpacking will make the product defective.
5. After unpacking, the rolled-up mattress should attain its specified dimensions within 48 hours. If not, it is considered defective. However, a +or – 15 mm variation in length, width and thickness is normal.
6. Physical flaws that result in the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling are considered as a defect.
7. In the event that the product purchased by the customer is unavailable due to any reason or if such product has beendiscontinued, Repose may, in its sole discretion, provide the customer with spares or replace the product with an existing comparable model.

 

NOT covered under manufacturing defect:

1. Any claims made outside the territory of India shall not be entertained.
2. Failure to furnish the original bill/receipt and/or warranty card, and/or removal of or tampering with any tags/labelpresent on the mattress will disqualify coverage under this Limited Warranty.
3. Damages caused due to ironing, any other heating objects, open flames or smoking on the bed shall not be covered.
4. Requests for replacement due to issues regarding the comfort / softness / firmness of the mattress shall not be entertained.
5. Damages arising from the use of the mattress with the support of improper cot or frame are excluded from thisWarranty.
6. Damages caused due to spillage of any liquids shall not be covered.
7. Sagging in the spring unit within 1.5 inches for inner spring mattresses and within 0.75 of an inch for any foam mattresses shall not be covered, neither shall any indentations or sagging caused due to abnormal use.
8. Defects or damage in mattress which have been used for commercial / industrial purposes or which have been rented / leased or massage centers / hotels / lodges / hospital or have been otherwise subject to non-household / non-domestic use.
9. This warranty excludes regular wear and tear of cover and stitching.
10. Any sort of fabric / zip /mattress damage caused while unboxing / unpacking the seal of the mattress is not covered under the warranty.
11. Mould, dirt or smell resulting from poor mattress care is not covered under this warranty. 
12. Tearing or permanent deformity of the materials due to exposure to cold / hot temperatures is not covered under warranty.
13. Memory foam & PU foam when exposed to heat become soft and when exposed to cold temperature, it becomes firm. This may result in the foam changing colour. This is a property of the material, not a defect.
14. The mattress has been damaged due to installation, zipper repairs, alterations or modifications by unauthorized service organizations or persons.
15. Any mattress found to be in an unreasonably unsanitary condition, which

shall include but not be limited to the presence of stains, soiling, fluid penetration, burns or burn marks, or other mark or defects indicating signs of abuse or misuse well beyond ordinary wear and tear shall not be covered under thisLimited Warranty. In the event that any Repose personnel inspecting the mattress is of the reasonable opinion thathe/she may be subject to potentially harmful pathogens/bacteria or the inspection cannot go forward due to theunhygienic condition of the mattress, such mattress shall not be covered under this Warranty.

In the event that the customer identities or notices any defects or damages to the mattress, he/she shall immediately notify the retailer from where the mattress has been purchased. Should the retailer be unavailable for any reason, the Customer may directly contact Repose Customer Service at orders@repose.co.in

 

Terms & conditions of warranty

1. The warranty on mattress will be available only in case of product failure due to manufacturing defect.
2. This warranty will be available only under the proper use of the product.
3. If only the cover (PVC or Fabric Zip cover) is defective (and not the mattress) upon purchase, the same will be replaced, not the whole mattress.
4. We require you to provide photographs of the entire sleeping surface of the mattress and any visible faults. Failure to do so may result in a delay in replacement or the mattress not being replaced at all.
5. Warranty claims will be inspected and picked up within 15 days of raising a return request.
6. If the claim has been verified, Repose will either repair or if a repair is not possible, offer a prorated credit settlementor cash refund. The return shipping charges has to be borne by the customer.
7. All genuine claims will be settled within 15 working days of warranty claim receipt.
8. Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.
9. In case the customer settles for prorated credit settlements, the same will be in the form of credit voucher.
10. The final decision on the warranty will be made by Repose Mattress Pvt Ltd. The company reserves the complete right to refuse any warranty claim if it doesn’t fulfill the warranty terms and conditions.
11. Returns will be accepted only if the product fulfills the return criteria (Refer to return criteria under return policy)
12. Disputes, if any, will be subject to Coimbatore jurisdiction only.

Exclusive remedy / Other limitations of this Warranty:

Repose shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage a rising out of the use of this product or theinability to use this product or for the breach of this or any other express or implied warranty. Any warranty, whether implied or not, with regard to the fitness or merchantability of the mattress shall not, under any circumstances, extend beyond the period of Warranty mentioned under this Warranty Card.

 

Repose shall repair or replace the mattress under Limited Warranty only if:

1.   The Customer is the original consumer/purchaser, and has purchased the mattress from an authorized agent or portalin India.

Repairs and Replacement

Repose reserves the right to replace the damaged or defective mattress with a mattress of equal or higher value and does not guarantee an exact match to the customer's current mattress.

Instructions for care:

1. Periodically rotate your mattress to ensure even use.
2. Use a cot/frame that provides continuous support to the entire mattress.
3. On receipt of the mattress, take off the PVC cover and let it aerate till the odour dissipates.
4. Avoid spilling any liquids on to the mattress and keep the same clean.
5. Do not place any hot objects on the mattress or bring the mattress or its fixtures near an open flame.
6. When the mattress is not in use, store it on a flat surface.
7. Dispose off all plastic wrapping and packaging immediately after removing the mattress from it as the same may pose a risk to children.
8. Do not remove any tags/labels attached to the fabric of the mattress. Do not bend, stand or jump on the mattress. Do not smoke on the bed.
